Lagos, Nigeria – Dakota Interior Architecture and Design is proud to have been given the opportunity to design, document and specify this magnificent Asian-style restaurant – Chai Tang – in the heart of Lagos. Our clients briefed us to create an unsurpassed fine dining Asian themed experience for the discerning Nigerian patron. Patrons are greeted at the start of their journey by a traditional Chinese bridge, which symbolises crossing over from the everyday into an experience which transports one to ancient China and allows the patron to immerse themselves in the experience. Once inside, the architecture, fixtures, fittings, custom furniture and artwork combine to create the illusion that one has stepped into an ancient palace banqueting hall
